  1. I use avira antivirus. It is free. Real time scanner. Updates every day or set when you want it to update. Less false positives than AVG free (with my experience using it). I do not know if windows ME is supported but windows xp is.
  2. AVG is pretty good….it gets updated to the newest viruses

  3. Avast is free and works well. I had AVG but prefer Avast. Either will work well. I've had Avast with 95,98, and now XP. I am sure it will work with ME.
  4. Try AVG, and if your still using ME upgrade to XP.
